| I have 740cc injectors. Wasn't in as much a rush to get home as I was to get to ZCON and was running several more mi/hr on the way there. The ECU uses the O2 sensors to control fuel delivery and the nature of its control is to sweep back and forth through stoich. There is less accurate control with a larger injector but given how the system regulates the pulsewidth of the injector to sweep through stoich, the variability of control works both to your advantage and disadvantage equally regardless of injector size while operating in closed loop control. If the system did not have closed-loop feedback, it would have to operate on a pre-determined set of parameters and from one vehicle to the next you would see a wider range of economy amongst a group. This is actually exactly what is observed in the Z's I have tuned in terms of A/F at WOT, open loop condition: the larger the injector size used, the larger the variation in A/F mixtures seen at WOT with the same program as at WOT the system operates in open loop.
